I took this video of a trip around Lake Rancho Santa Margarita, in Southern California. Now before I get flamed for calling this *obvious* man made "pond" a lake, be assurred that I am aware that it is not a *true* lake.

The point of this video isn't to debate the legitimacy of RSM Lake, but rather to show you how much suffering we have here in the Winter time. The Winters are much harder than you can imagine. Sometimes I can't even get out of my driveway and make it to work.

... oh wait ...

That is a lie.

Enjoy!

  • Nice video. RSM is my home.

  • it is mine as well! :-) lived here for almost 15 years (lived in so cal my entire life)... wouldn't live anywhere else.

  • Thanks and congratulations for your movie, now Sanyo HD1A cost € 199.00 (in Italy) and I must say that your recovery is very good, color, contrast and sharpness very defined in "HQ", thanks and congratulations for Your video. Greetings from Pisa (Tuscany).

  • Thank you very much. Unfortunately my Sanyo Xacti HD1a was stolen about 2 weeks ago. I had the camera for almost 4 years! So I just purchased a new Sanyo Xacti DMX-HD700 and I am extremely pleased. Sanyo has just released the DMX-CG10 which is the replacement for the HD700. If you can get your hands on a CG10, I highly recommend it. Thank you for visiting my site. I really miss the HD1a.

  • Your video is beautiful. I lived in RSM for 11 years, then moved to San Juan Capistrano. I totally regretted my move except that driving to the Costa Mesa area was a lot easier. All those stop lights on RSM before I got on the tollway used to drive me nuts. You forget to mention, however, that summers in RSM are hotter than Haiti. Also we had a major ant problem (like out of an Alfred Hitchcock movie). But I still miss RSM very much. I loved it there.
