  • Uhh wouldn't Metroid Prime be just like Megaman because of the one gun arm?

Moving minimaps are nothing new either.

Now the other comparisons are accurate though.

  • What's important is that the moving 3d minimap, along with the HUD, the controls, gameplay and overall feel, are ALL elements that come TOGETHER to form MANY similarities with MP games.

And why even mention Megaman? Sure, he has a gun-arm, but his powers, moves, control style, and almost everything else are completely different than Samus, and this clone game.

Whether you're talking about 2d games or 3d games, metroid and megaman play like totally different things, man...

  • can i just say something..metroid dread..yea,metroid dread is,or was, being made yet nintendo neither confermned nor denied it.this game resembles metroid..it sound slike, adn plays similar to metroid.metroid prime had something saying something about dread..could this be metroid dread in disguise?

  • Dread was supposed to be a 2D game, not a Prime-style game... and it was being made by Intelligent systems, which is not the company that made this.

  • I was thinking exactly what you said from 0:00-0:08 xD

Btw, does anyone know why your weapon disappears in hallways? It's odd...

  • Probably because they're loading rooms or something... maybe it doesn't want you doing anything that would slow it down from loading the next set of rooms or something...

  • @Kool212 Metroid (メトロイド Metoroido?) was released in Japan in August 1986, in North America in August 1987, and in Europe in January 1988. Mega Man,known as Rockman (ロックマン?) in Japan was the first game in the original Mega Man series and the entire Mega Man franchise. It was released in Japan on December 17, 1987, and was localized for North America in December 1987 and for Europe in May 1990. ; ) samus twas 1st update
