@SuperGazza1970 The Book is written by Colleen McCullough...I don't know where you can find it, but I'm sure if you google it you can find it either in a library or in an online store...this makes me appreciate my copy...even with it's old weathered cover...:) Hope you find it and enjoy it as much as I do.

Love this miniseries but my biggest complaint is that no one bothered to speak with Irish or Australian accents.

Many thanks for uploading The Thorn Birds as it was one of my favourite T.V. series when it was first broadcast on Britsh T.V. , by the way does anyone know who wrote the book of the series, and if I can get hold of it anywhere. I'd be grateful if you'd let me know.

Why didn´t they include the ´missing years´ in series they made in 1983, I mean with the same cast. I didn´t understand why they left out 20 years in the story.
