It is not forgotten in Texas. Texas A&M University has a memorial ceremony every year remembering the "Aggies" lost in the battles.

To all of the servicemen and women who fought at Bataan and Corregidor: You will NEVER be forgotten, Filipino or American! My father served in WW2 and as a younger American, I leapt at the chance to visit Corregidor and the Pacific War Museum when I met my Filipina Wife.Heart wrenching. To put it straight for Filipinos however, I must say the Japanese would have invaded the Philippines regardless of America, it was absolutely vital to their expansion. I have grown to love the Filipino people!

@SenkanYamatoMaru yes but they all show the heroic side of your country, no time like the present to write a script dude!

@kimpunkrock The movies you mentioned are American POVs. I hope someday a "high budget" film would be made of the defense of Bataan from the Filipinos POV.

@tss77 there are some great old movies that tell a lot about their side--Back To Bataan, An American Guerrilla in the Philippines, Never so Few...check them out!

somehow the first part of this docu is blocked by God-knows-whom (in Germany)
Thank you for this series on Bataan and Corregidor with a perspective from the Filino's side which has rarely been told before.

Many have thought of that notion, but I think we love our independence and our freedom too much for that. As a matter of fact, through out history, we Filipinos have always fought for our freedom and independence, the right to rule over our own land, our own people and our own selves.
Although, many other Filipinos might think the same way.
