Becoming a great putter requires mastering the three elements of putting:
1. Line
2. Roll
3. Speed
Most golfers spend too much time thinking about line and ignore roll and speed. In order to improve all areas of your putting, use alignment tools on your golf ball. John here has used his alignment tool to point the align directly at the hole. He's going to have his eyes slightly forward and watch the ball coming off the putter. In this way, he can notice whether the ball is rolling end over end and true. The more side spin he imparts on the golf ball, the smaller he makes the hole. So, to improve your putting, use alignment tools so that on the course you can focus on speed, the most important variable.
