Mika and Walter Ray are some of the most versatile guys in the PBA. Shark still favors high revs, but if you can adjust your game, you can still bowl well, even if high revs isn't your strength.
Then how come Mika and Walter Ray each do much better then the average exempt bowler and they have far less hand then a guy like TJ, Wes Malot, Robert Smith, Sean Rash? Walter Ray was like 3rd highest on Shark for averages and Mika was 4th, Chris Barnes was 2nd pete was first... and the only reason pete was there is cuz he gets so much tilt on his ball to get it to move on the back ends.. So I disagree. Just cuz they have to play the middle part of lane doesnt mean it favors a high rev player.
The Shark pattern is one that requires playing the inside part of the lane. High rev bowlers are excellent at that, while straighter bowlers(like myself) do not like.
The straighter bowlers like playing the outside part of the lane. Of course, there is always the exception and TJ has his preference like anyone else, but straight bowlers do not like Shark just like high rev bowlers do not like Cheetah.
Tommy Jones likes Viper better then Shark so IDK... I think Shark favors the guys that can either go pretty straight I.E mika or get crazy tilt like pete weber, most of the high hand guys dont like long oil.
Ya shark is my fave pattern...but in my PBA Exp league I have only thrown on Viper and Shark so far. I'm hoping they put up a ToC shot...LOVE it when the lanes are soaked.
im good on all of the patterns lol but my favorite has to be the shark pattern

That nice looking girl at the end sure threw a good ball.

That might be the case with you, but with most, Shark is harder. High rev bowlers love Shark, but they hate Cheetah and Viper.
