    dumby

  • This is MUCH better than the method where you give them 9 ones+6+5 because when you give them 9 ones + 10 in this method it seems like they almost ripped YOU off instead of the other way around. On top of that when they see a 10 back in the mix, they sumtimes assume that was the 10 they gave you & have no problem giving you a 20.

Ive practiced this many times. The skill comes in using body language to retrieve the 10 before they count. Be demanding. This is a good example.

  • I tried this -- it did NOT work

they count every bill FIRST then give u a 10...the con gets snuffed out and your left standing there like a jackass

  • K heres how u do it so they give you the 10 at the start take a 10 and fold the corner place it at the bottom of all the 1's then crumple the corner of the 1 rite on top of the 10 then put the 8 other ones on top of that then count it out quickly then when she gives you the money tell her to count and make sure while shes counting very quickly pocket the ten and ur set from there!!!

  • @crackerasscomedy it works with coins too...

  • Ok, change raising is NOT short change, change raising is when the cashier gives you more money than intended, and short change is when you buy something, ask for change, and end up with more money.

  • for this scam to work you have to find the right store that will give you a 10 before they count your money, first time i tried this the cashier demanded the pile of cash first, the second time i tried it at another store and the cashier actually gave me the ten first but i didnt pocket it fast enough so he realized he already gave me a ten

  • Wait i'm confused. How does it seem like "YOU" were ripped off? And, if the cashier assumes that it was their $10, then wouldn't they think that you're trying to get extra change with their own bill?

  • Yeah, its sometimes hard to get that $10 before they count your ones.

  • good as it is rather dishonest.
