Homemade studded RC car tires

I was bored so I decided to make some studded tires for my RC truck. Just wanted to share this with you if you want to make some yourself.

What I used
-Old tires
-Thumb tacks
-Rubber Cement
-Rotary tool w/ grinder attachment

@swatrylan2 I got it from HobbyTownUSA.  But a lot of other hobby shops and other stores carry them too.

For a 1/10 scale nitro stadium truck would it be better to drill some hex bolts threw the tire into the rim or do this

@AllTheJues I'm not an expert, but if you want to go ahead and try it. Anything that will give it grip on the snow/ice and stay secured to the tire should be fine.
