I just ran across your videos recently and wanted to mention, this was one lucky bird. It's clear that he had lots of attention and it's clear he was treated like a member of the family. He couldn't have asked for a better life. God bless and thank you for all the videos.

I was wondering about Leo too. I lost my Sun in Jan to a hawk after weeks of flight training. My bird did the same thing as Leo, like to hang out in a tree until he felt like coming back but one day a very large hawk started sailing after him and chased him what seemed like miles away and I never saw him again. I knew they were out there but I had no idea they were so numerous and so many different species. I see them all over the place now that I'm always looking for them.

There were quite a few predator birds in Florida. We had to keep an eye out. We would squawk and hide when we saw a predator -- in the video, you can see Leo looking up a lot to make sure it's clear. This is part of free-flight training.
