  • Great performance of life-important lyrics:

Lord, teach me that my life has a goal and that I once will have to leave the earth.

    (Ps 39,5-8)

  • Lord, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am.

Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreath; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity.

Surely every man walketh in a vain shew: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heapeth up riches, and knoweth not who shall gather them.

And now, Lord, what wait I for? ...

    (Psalm 39:5-8)

  • What a wonderful music, and that baritone and the choir are great.

It's difficult to sing German if you are Italian (I think the opposite is easier), but he hardly has an accent.

  • schöne deutsche gesänge

  • I love this!!! They all sing soo good... I'm so excited to listen to it in real life... ^^

  • J. has the most beautiful baritone voice -- very powerful and rich. I love to listen to him sing! I attended this concert and was mesmerized by J.'s solos.

  • Very nice. I just performed this piece with a 150 headed choir. It's a very beautiful piece. This sounds like a good performance.

  • The baritone is very good. I sang the Brahms' Requiem this past summer with Thomas Quasthoff so I learned to love it. lmao. The choir is great as well.

  • mmmmm, heaven!!!
