This is a fun new toy my friend and i made yesterday. it is a homemade nerf gun. we conducted test at between 15 and and 140 PSI. this is a very fun project and we made it altogether at under 10$. you should defiantly try make this. HOWEVER!! be careful shooting things other than nerf darts. we left the footage out of the video but we had also shot, a bolt, a 45 caliber bullet, a metal nail, and a 15" metal rod. all of those were unbelievably dangerous, especially the metal rod which impaled a FULL bottle of milk and also put a 1" gash into concrete.

BE CAREFULL

  • Did you know that the bike tire valve that you use is only rated for 60 psi

  • @Rukia122 are you serious? i use them for everything, even high preassure applications up to 250 PSI.

  • any hardware store

  • has it ever exploded on u

  • no, we only tested up to 140 PSI, im sure that if you went higher it could. all the PVC was rated up to 330 PSI but the valve was rated to 150 so we decided not to go higher.

  • Why not try to add a hand(bike) punp to it so you don't have to keep removing it to pump it up

  • i'm thinking load 12 bb pellets in and fire at 60-80psi as a shotgun bb gun

(or 150psi with 1 bb pellet in combination with some form of scope for target practice/a custom sniper bb gun)

    that kind of usage?

  • out of curiosity is it possible to make one of these using this method but with a 3.5mm barrel... (capable of firing standard bb pellets)

  • @crazy1russian That is what it says on the box

  • i would never use that cuz it would take forever to load

  • that waz sweet

  • @thepyroman1314 i have 4 did you not see one in the background, by the door to my house

  • im confused, specifically what parts did you use to make this? it looks like a really fun project
