This is an aerial video of Boston & Maine's Ayer, MA yard taken from a modified GWS Slow Stick radio control plane that had a 5.0mp digital camera and a Flycamone2 video camera mounted on it. This was the first attempt at flying it with the cameras. On this particular day the wind was gusting at times. The plane was underpowered and you will see a couple of times where it goes into a spiral due the wind gusts. I have since changed out the motor to a E-flite 450 outrunner. The plane weighs in at 36oz's.

GREAT video!! you really should post the one you did of the fitchburg yard. is there alot of activity in the ayer yard? never been there but looks pretty cool.... you should check out the east deerfeild yard and do a flyover, compared to ayer its HUGE!

Wow that was an awesome vid, i have been to ayer many times and never saw it like that, what type of plane did you use?

It weighs in at a little over 2 pounds with the two cameras onboard. There is really very little to the plane othere then the wings and long shaft for the fuslage. At the time of this video it was badly underpowered. I have since added a much more powerfull motor to help it pull out of any spins or if the wind picks up. After this video was done I did one at the Fitchburg yard and I ended up losing the plane for over a month in a tree due to the lack of power and wind.
