Song celebrating famous and obscure Lutherans. Check http://www.speedwood.com/ for Lost and Found's great music. Submitted with permission of both the performers and the collectors of the photos (http://www.sheridanlutheran.org/) . Enjoy!

Don't forget to look for Lost and Found's "Lions" song too!

Not fair at all! "They will know that we are Christians by our love."

Whoa there! Was that very Christian of you to say, albeit on Youtube... er, "post"? I'm in the ELCA and a last I checked we're still 100% Christian. Also, being a Christian isn't about calling others out for what you think their wrong-doings are, it's about helping others without any expectation of reward or glory (and praising the Lord for all He has blessed us with at the same time; didn't mean to leave that part out). ELCA, LCMS, WELS: it makes no difference. Christian is Christian

Lutheran doctrine is Christian doctrine; Lutheran place their faith not "in popes or councils alone, since it is well known that they have often erred and contradicted themselves", but in the Word of God. Our steadfast proclamation is that of God's Word. Our pride in Lutheranism is not pride in the things of man, but thanksgiving that the Holy Spirit has placed faith in us to recognize the truth, that our salvation is Christ's work alone, without any assistance from us whatsoever. Amen!

Our pastor played this after church a few years ago. He's way better than the one we had at Congress Street. Not sure why we even went there for awhile; we're Lutherans. Ah well, back at Gloria Dei, and our pastor is the coolest pastor.

This is great, but I feel like we are missing out on something here. We celebrate the fact that we're Lutheran, that's fine, but we must realize that Lutheranism is man-made. Instead of celebrating a specific denomination, we should celebrate Christ and all he has done for us. I fear that too may people get caught up in denominations that they forget what the pure essence of Christianity is. The Bible is where we should place our faith, not Luther's doctrine. I love you and God bless you all. :)

William H. Macy , no wonder he did so well in the movie Fargo . Born again Apostolic here, but I still think of the Lutheran Church I grew up in with reverance and I don't mind going to the Lutheran Christmas Eve service with the in-laws. So, don't be surprised if you hear somebody raising his arms during the Hymns. God bless.
