Western Pleasure - MSU Youth Show 2010

This is Honey and I competing in Buckskin WP at MSU last October! Honey's no push-button pleasure horse by any means, but I'm proud of how far she's come since I got her! :)
We've improved some over the winter, and I'm really excited for the upcoming show season! Only one month to go!!

The song is just one I really like right now. And it's kinda a joke at our barn that everyone calls Honey "Miss Angel-Princess Honeybuns" because I tend to spoil and fuss over her so much :p

Not well, haha. I think we got 4th out of 6. Honey's really not built right for western pleasure, so I just do the classes for fun. I can't expect her to move better than she's physically capable of, so I don't worry about placings.

We did awesome in all the huntseat and showmanship classes at this show though!

girl i think you need to jump that horse. i mean she used to be champ in jumper classes right? so i think you should! :) <3

Haha, she's definitely a better Hunt Seat horse than Western! And she did use to jump, but she can't anymore because of arthritis :( So she's my pleasure girl now, and I jump my trainer's horses instead.
