Thanks for posting. I am starting to miss work because I am spending time at the casino. I have spent more money than I could afford to lose and I didnt have much to begin with. I feel sick to my stomach, I know I have a problem. I also called a GA hotline and got an answering machine. I hope to attend a GA meeting this week. I want this to stop.

I am presently in recovery for 3 months after losing everything to a horse racing addiction.... Its painful to see the damage i have done to my life but finding help is not so easy..... i called a New York state gambling hotline at least twice and got an answering machine... Spouses of gambling junkies, do a powerful intervention and be quick about it!!!

@vixenjan2580...NOT telling you to leave your husband for good...but if you have a place to go and stay...go there for a while....let him SEE what it would be like if you and the baby weren't there to blame!....How could you run the household if he doesn't help you?...When it comes to the food being scarce?..It's time to get it together..."ask me how I know" as they say.If you love him...send him the message that he's losing his family.

Watching this video Made me cry even more, my husband is a gambler, and he always try to blame it on me that we always fight that's why he goes back and gamble.... He doesn't want us to spend money because his credit card are maxed out.... And he blames us, me and my son, for spending money just for grocery, we have a 2 year old... I don't know if I can take it anymore, gambling will take away your life and love ones...,

i am from Morocco; I came to the US in 2002; I worked so hard but I lost more than $100,000 in less than two yrs. Gambling is evil and destroys lives...
