How is this "making" mozzarella? This is taking store bought curd and warming it and shaping it. If you're going to go this route, why not actually make the cheese from start to finish?

@23ebone This is the way most Italian deli's make their fresh mozzarella. Start to finish takes hours and is a real pain in the ass...

This process is how most Italian deli's make their fresh mozzarella. If you like the way a ball of warm fresh mozzarella tastes, try making it the way I demonstrate in this video. If you don't notice the difference between fresh mozzarella and the plastic package of Polly-O or Sorrento from the grocery store, you shouldn't waste your time with this.

why would you support Monsanto? The curd manufacturer! This is not fresh mozzarella! this was made 7 mo. to 1 yr ago! :(
