think one compliments the other on stage, Bowie seems perfect for this epic tune which was a truly great live performance anyone with a clue can see that.
He seems to be almost honored to sing it which is quite something coming from one of the greatest songwriter/ performers in musical history, Bowie is indeed very very special and important musician i could list for hours the amount of bands that he was a major influence on over the years, Arcade fire is just one of many.

So was Johnny Cash when he released his cover of hurt (or at least probably was to you). That was still amazing. Plus it was the last song he ever released before he passed away. David's not doing this for any winning streak or anything, I don't know about you but I can hear passion in his voice. He's doing this because he loves music and is in it for his true talent. That doesn't die with age

Any person that is NOT excited by Arcade Fire has not realized they made music with David Bowie AND Annie Lennox. That should be enough of an indication.

Epic is so over-used these days, but not in this case. Gets better with each listen.
