For me, 1991 was the best time in Morrisseys solo career! With Kill Uncle and his Rockabilly band, just watch the Live in Dallas concert, love it

So many areas ring up to answer that. I suppose it's never healthy to get too close to your idols, you may end up dissapointed.
Let's just say I am a huge Smiths fan to this day. Steve Morrissey is a rather self occupied person. He'll punish you directly (the Smiths,) or indirectly (Canadian fans, for example, because monsters were clubbing seals). He hated x-prez Bush (and who didn't) so therefore "America Is Not The World" . I can't share his bitterness. Not buying it.
