1. die when your boyfriend leaves you. there's no hope nor tomorrow, you can't move on so it's the end of the world.

2. ask your boyfriend to take your virginity when he asks you to marry him.

3. abandon your parents after high school.

4. do not make friends or at least act like they don't exist when you have a hot (for me, he's ugly and gay) vampire boyfriend.

5. when someone wants to kill you, climb on a mountain and hide while your friends fight for your life.

i like the vampire diaries more than twilight because..... well the vampires dont sparkle in the sunlight. they burn. and the wolves are more intense looking. the vampires aren't pale as milk. and EVERY guy in the movie is HOT.

6. Elena is supposed to die, then come back as a Vampire, then die, then come back as a sort of Angel, then finally becomes human again

7. She has a little sister called Margaret, not a teenage brother called Jeremy (and her aunt is called Judith)

8. Stefan lives with Mrs Flowers

9. Elena and Bonnie have a friend called Meredith (who could've been played by Nina Dobrev and have a major thing for Alaric)

I love vampire diaries, but they changed soooo much from the books:

1. Elena is blonde, not brunette (maybe the lass who plays Caroline should've played her)

2. Bonnie is pale and red haired, not Black (no racism intended)

3. Stefan and Damon come from 16th Century Italy

4. Katherine faked her own death by placing ashes and her ring under a tree

5. Caroline is supposed to hate Elena, Bonnie etc and eventually ends up with Tyler
