CCR has been one of my favorite bands for a while and to hear them sing about the Rugy Ridge massacre just make me like them more. Its a shame that that incident ever took place. God bless the weaver family and all they have been through.

Yeah, I read about it. Some FBI harrassed Weaver for believing in white separatism, even though he just moved to a farm peacefully and didn't do anything to blacks. They tried to get him to help them spy on other white people, and he refused, so they grilled him on charges of making a NFA prohibited weapon without a tax stamp, then came out to his ranch, shot his dog, his kid, his baby in his wife's arms and took shots at him. I heard various stories that they killed his brother too.

@stopglobalswarming Its sad that he got away with cold blooded murder. Horiuchi was praied for his cowardly acts at Ruby Ridge a short time later and put in charge of the Waco Texas incident and look at the outcome of that. You tell me who the real murders are ! Always remember that big brother is watching you.

@stopglobalswarming Yea look it up, August 1992, i remember like yesterday the 11 day siege of Ruby Ridge where Vicki and Sam Weaver (mother & son) were shot and killed by the ABCs of the Federal Government. It was a Crime against innocent people trying to make a life away from the BS of the hypocritracy of U.S. Government.......If you want to learn more, read up my friend!!!!!!! This the start of series of attacks on innocent people.........Remember Waco Siege of April 19th, 1993???

Its hard to tell because of the upbeat tempo of the song. CC R also did a song seemingly supporting gangster rap, so I was not sure about their meaning in this song.
