  • Hi Alistair, I just bought an EWI 4000s and found your video brilliant, I am 70 years old and MIDI to me is like chinese I have'nt a clue. Is it straight forward to plug the EWI into a sound module and go or do I need to some kind of setting up procedure, your help would be very welcomed, Thanks Colin

  • 9:16 hahaha, priceless!

  • Thanks Alistair you're so helpful with your course. Would you like to examine the Roland SC55 too as I have been using it with a WX7 for some years now and I have only just purchased the Yamaha VL70-m to use with my EWI 14000. I also found the Yamaha Foot control board very helpful in on stage changing of voices with the Roland module. My chief feeling is though of the Voice Control aspects of such modules. I have also purchased the patch from Patchman fot the VL70-m

  • Great video!

    Thanks Alistair... Keep 'em comin'!

  • Always love these videos. This one was particularly useful, need to test it with my JV-1010. I know Bernie Kenerson has some of these but could you show us some scale or rudament practice that would help with fingerings for scales or fast passages. I sometimes struggle with playing across octaves or the Bb as it's not quite as easy as on sax.

    Cheers

  • As always, very thankful for your advice. It'd be great if you can address in the future the EWI USB.
