@SeptimiusSeverusRex No need to explain really. I think people who have a soul and that are spiritual can feel things brought on by surroundings, smells, sounds etc. These senses can bring on good feelings or sad feelings. Trust me, I feel the same way. Sometimes I feel like wreck because so many things set my mind in a tiz, whether it be good or bad. Are your mom and dad still in Charleston?

@cagepondroad My Mother and Father are from Charleston. I just came back from the port of Charleston and it always makes me reflect. You can just feel it in the air that a lot of bad things and pain took place there. I feel deeply moved whenever I visit. Can't explain it. The only other place that gave me a stronger feeling was at Goree´ Island in Senegal, standing at the "Door of No Return". I collapsed there in tears.
The Port of the Charleston, SC was the largest slave port in America.

@musiqtube1 You're right. My mom and dad used to live in Charleston up until Hurricane Hugo. They then moved to Asheville, N.C. and then back to R.I. My dad has since passed and my mom now lives in Charlestown, R.I. Feel free to chat anytime. All the best, mark.

america this was a crime that this woman wanted to murder her children so they wouldn't be enslaved and experience the harshness and cruelty of slavery in this so-called motherfucking "land of the free and home of the brave". Please. For who? it wasn't for us?
The song that starts at 1:19 for some reason, reminds me of my trips to Charlestown,S.C., especially to the lowlands. Funny how music can do that to you. By the way great soundtrack and movie.
