Thank you. I share your sentiment. It's hard sometimes to have an adult conversation on Youtube.

That said, I feel that workers should not subsidize the cost of businesses. Too often, businesses look at wages as the only means of balancing their books.The fact that the country's most profitable & valued companies are also among the highest paying is no coincidence. Pls Google this "100 Best Companies"

However, we clearly disagree on this,so I suggest we leave the matter to rest. Cheers

For that 162 years you mentioned, we had a slave class to work for us. Businesses and individuals used the black labor force to fuel their growth. Wages were kept to a level that prevents them from being able to move or leverage on their knowledge. Further, your contention that people can search for better jobs fails to account for one simple fact - why would other businesses offer higher wages than their competitors? Would it not be more efficient to maintain a level cartel-like wage structure?
