You know what? Here's something you should consider, the inappropriate shit you're talking about is pornography, right? Why not block the NEWS. Hear me out, do you want your kids constantly exposed to stories of terrible violence, (sometimes even pictures of it) or would you rather them be exposed them to something natural? I'm not saying let your 6 year old watch porn, but when it comes to teenagers, give me a fucking break. And parental controls are a joke.

Parents who love to watch porn during their childhood are now scared that their kids might do the same thing. Thats why you are over protective.
Me is different, I gave my son a laptop, ipod touch etc.. I want him to experience the modern world of technology. I am just watching and guiding him to the stuff that fits to him,. I never remind him of "Don't go on this.. don't do that... etc.. " It will only give him a "key of curiosity" on "why.."? and more tendency for him to find out why.
