Winter has finally arrived with a few inches of snow and overnight temperatures below zero. The wolves have noticed the change and have increased some behavioral patterns. We do have an interesting clip of social behavior with Aidan submitting to Denali, but on the next day, we see Aidan increasing his intensity and following again. Grizzer does a few laps around and over the wolf care staff and Malik investigates the winter gear of the Wolf Care Staff.

  • So wonderful to see all the wolves looking so contented and the Grizzer 500 is special, as is the wolves howling in the background. Can't get enough of that howling; makes me think of being out in the wild and hearing that elusive sound. Great!!

  • Awwww can I buy some toys and treats for them I'll buy a hat to for that one wolf

  • What a delight to see the wolves so active in the cold and snow. Thanks, Lori!

  • I love the Grizzer 500 it reminds me of when I was young I had a GSD that did the same thing over and over in our yard.....

  • Awhh. Very cute, Down here in the south we haven't got a dusting!

  • Finally, the wolves got some cold! I bet they sweat in 30s. Grizzler in dog-years would be about 50...I'd like to see some 50 year olds have as much evergy as him!
