Dark Muse - Skill Of The Maker - Live - Ritual Dark Ambient Ethereal

Texture & Decay - 2011 a video slideshow of photographs taken around my neighborhood. Macro shots (though some may seem a little blurry) because there may not have been a lot of definition in the object being shot. Texture & Decay are shots of Decayed & Worn architecture, walls, stone, aging paint, metal, wood etc.

This track set to these visuals and the speed at which they transition, may cause a bit of unease.

This project started as a way to shoot texture photos for possible future Photoshop projects for layers of decay & or grunge effects.

The Music is also by me - Dark Muse. 'Skill of the Maker' was performed/recorded live back in 2008 at the Ilya event in LA and can be found on the album (of mostly live recordings from that night) titled 'Ilya & Beyond'.

This was also an attempt for me to try out a free (semi-free) version of Avid's Pinnacle VideoSpin software. The VideoSpin editor seems pretty straight forward (at least on the relatively free level - I say relatively free, because after 15 days of trying the basic Free edition, you pay $15 for codex which will allow you to 'Save' a file as an mp4 Among other settings, to be able to upload for youtube-ness). Which still seems like a deal to me. Easy to use and add images & files (very easy in comparison to other basic video editing software I've tried). There are a few small drawbacks. But in comparison to other softwares I've tried (downloaded or even online editors) most of the others had me searching all over the net for answers to basic questions. This product didn't have me doing that so much.

@NeoTranshuman Not quite sure what your question is referring to? As far as not understanding any of 'it'? or needing me to explain 'Any of this'? What are you questioning or what do you need explained? My music or my Photographs of nature & decay? I thought both were pretty straight forward... there are photographic visuals of decay in architecture & nature made into a photo slideshow video ... and there is my music. I pieced my photos to transition to my track 'Skill of the maker'. ~DM~
