Keith and Georgie's Fancy -Tasmanian Heritage Fiddle Ensemble

Keith and Georgie's Fancy, a tune that is a collected local variant of an internationally known polka, Silver Bells. Collected from the Anderson familiy Mawbanna, North West Tasmania.

The Tasmanian Heritage Fiddle Ensemble is dedicated to reviving traditional Tasmanian country Dance music and for performing original contemporary Tasmanian folk music. The brief of this group is to revive a hoard of great lost and over-looked music, to teach Tasmanian musicians to love and revere their own local traditions and to contribute creatively to expanding these traditions. This performance was at the annual National Folk Festival, Exhibition Park, Canberra, ACT, Australia, 2010.
