Rep. Barton and Rep. Inslee discuss the effect the Waxman-Markey cap and trade bill will have on global temperature. Rep. Barton argues that according to temperature modeling he has seen, the bill will reduce global temperature by less than 1/10th of one degree Fahrenheit. Rep. Inslee says that he has "seen other estimates" that are higher.

This is pure socialism base on the fact real science disagree with this made media's support group for this worthless and disgusting policy. All congress and the president need to be removed and a new government established. And in 2010 if this does not change some of the failure we can say good bye to America

One way to minimize price increases associated with reducing greenhouse gas emissions is to keep low-cost energy options like coal in our nations energy mix. Also, we should set a limit on the price of emission allowances. If we do that, we can guarantee that consumers are protected against skyrocketing energy costs without slowing down efforts to reduce greenhouse gases.
