  • Gain is not a "second volume" - it's an input level, it sets the level of signal BEFORE anything happens to it...

I'm not sure if u realise, but EQ is not a 'level' - you are boosting or cutting a frequency...

Low cut is NOT for bass guitars - it's primarily used for mics to stop rumbling and vibrations from the stage, and to stop pops from vocal mics... If you're micing a kick drum you don't want to remove all the sexy low end from it with a low cut!!!

  • You need to explain a proper signal path.

The first thing to do is adjust the input gain signal to 0 db first....

  • I have learned nothing

  • Why do you think you should record "lessons", if you are amateur in the topic itself?...

  • Gain is not a volume control. It controls the level of input.

  • @BrakePad44 dude she said very basic relax

  • good to see a video from someone that hasn't got a fucking clue what they're talking about. very informative.

  • I'm 15 and you don't have a fucking clue on what your talking about. I bet you don't have no real experience with a mixer desk e.g live venues when your under a lot of pressure. You need to learn more on what your talking about.

  • Eastenders in the background .. luv it!

  • This is complete bullshit.

  • Thanks for trying. Your close to being able to help beginners. Need to brush up a tad on the some technical functions of the channel and signal path like gain and the purpose of low cut filters. Maybe start at the top of the channel with gain and work down. Also, please turn the TV off next time!! Again, thanks for the effort and thanks for even thinking about sharing!!
