@Smbz9 I did stare into the sun and the clouds do appear to move, but here is my theory: The image excites particular set of neurons that recognizes the picture. You can't keep a constant focus as your muscles can't keep a frozen lock on the target...so as the muscles ever so slightly twitch and you re-focus the image pixels are re-focused on the retina, the center image mostly remains unchanged but the ones in periphery (clouds) gets mostly impacted....also, how much you drink will change this
