No big government Republican will save this sinking boat. Not Romney, not Huckabee, not even Palin. They'll only exacerbate the problem slightly less than Obama. Ron Paul was here with life rafts in 2008. but he was shooed away. He may run in 2012, but that may be too late. We could have returned to minarchy voluntarily, instead it will be forced upon us when the weight of big government finally breaks this countries back. I'm afraid it will be accompanied by poverty and chaos.

We have to make ourselves more competitive through going to a Fair Tax of 18%,drilling,going to a Gold Standard,leaving environmental restrictions to the local government,letting local government run education,and Libertarian healthcare reform. Than you make our competitor weaker. Through putting tariffs on them until they go to out minimum wage and environmental regulations. This will make us better, because now Chinese and Mexican workers can afford our goods. And we must buy American.
