This is the first movie made on Chiranjeevi's home banner 'Anjana Productions'. Excellent movie, directed by K.Balachander sir. Maestro Ilayaraja rocked in this album. It has good classical songs and couple of melody ones too. Under music category this movie got 2 national awards. One for Maestro Ilayaraja for best music director and another one for S.P.Balasubramanyam for best male playback singer. This movie also won the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration.
