  • TruAzn100: Just make sure you get a nice fit! :) Best of luck getting there.

ooEngineer: There aren't any secret take-aways from the ceremony; you receive an iron ring, a certificate with the engineering oath on it (which you sign) and a wallet-size version of the oath. The certificate is nice enough to frame.

I thought the ceremony was quite nice, given that you're in the right mood. I'd definitely say that "secret" is the wrong word.

  • @resal3000 You're fuckin retarded if you studied engineering for a trophy.

  • @resal3000 so you're saying you studied engineering for a ring?

  • SORRY TO BUST THE BUBBLE, if you want the same ring... its nothing fancy.. its just crap.. and not worth the 4 year of engineering.. STUPID DAMN RING.. I am just angry that I worked hard at school for that stupid ring..

If you bought a ring from the dollar store, THAT RING is better than this Iron ring.

  • I just got my ring lol.

Ill tell you what goes on in there. There are loads of hot nursing students waiting for us in there where we have a "good time" lol.

  • Stupid media, actually its with emphasis on the word "private", the students interviewed should know better. It's kinda like going to a strangers funeral,it doesn't involve you so go away!

  • if i every graduate as an engineer i would feel so good to wear that ring!!!!!

  • Wait, is there more than just the iron ring at this ceremony? Like you get the ring and the secret thing?

  • it depends on the province...we in ontario keep it secret, while in Quebec, it is open to public...

  • It's not SECRET, it's private, not publicized!! Sheesh! And they DO tell students what happens, they're just idiots. I know, I just attended mine, and you're not missing anything exciting.
