Chile's Mapuches targeted by post-fire raids

The Chilean government has been stepping up raids against Mapuche Indian communities after it blamed them for forest fires.

Seven people were killed in one of the blazes. The Mapuches deny any involvement and say that the government is using the fires as an excuse to attack them.

Al Jazeera's Teresa Bo reports from the Araucarnia region of Chile.

Mapuche depojandolos de sus tierras y familias, el poder Capitalista fundada por los seguidores de Pinochet o el cual llamados "Militarismo", tratando de terroristas a sus propios indígenas. HI in this moment in my country Chile , the newspaper and TV lie about this situation the police break at children, woman and old people MAPUCHES, we were the unique than resist the figth whit to Spain, but in here the chilean somepeople discriminate and my people are racist.
