Approaching to land at Londons Heathrow airport, this Emirates A380 was struck by lightning. The Airbus landed safely with no damage.

Exelente video - All aircraft must have lightning direct and indirect protection. However, to develop and design it for a vehicle that flies, is not easy as some academics think. i hope u guyz do realize that planes are designed to get struck by lightning!
its frikin normal up there....these aircrafts doesnt even get any scratches from lightning strikes!

@razgriz786 Well they do get damaged but yes they are designed for it, and on average every plane gets struck at least once a year...
