Very similar to my first ever video on pointe, good comparison. My shoes are Gaynor Minden.

  • Honestly, they're the only shoe that lasts me longer than a month, and I don't have the money to go through that many shoes. They haven't cause me any injury at all so as long as they do me well I think I'll stick with them :)

  • OMG your feet im in love!

  • @TheBroadwayballerina

    haha thanks :)

  • I don't see what anyone means by "needs serious practice." You look fine to me. The only thing I would suggest is that when you come down from your releve passe, try to land in a tighter fifth position. Other than that, quite good!

  • @s3rvana Thanks, yea I know, I'm a bit sloppy in landing anything. I also had plantar facsiitis at that time so I was compromising a little bit...

  • Need some serious practice...

  • @MrStella1919

Well that's what learning's all about. I have 3.5 hours of pointe a week. I'm getting there :).

  • You should not be using those kind of ballett shoes, they will make you ankles weak these are performance shoes get different ones now!

  • Ohhh... Gaynor Minden.. I would not recomend these shoes at all. Gayner Minden is the death shoe. The reason your arch looks good is because the shank is made soft. They are definently not good for class. They preformance shoes. Gaynor Minden shoes are for very weak ankles and feet. Using Gaynor Minden also can cause serious ankle weakness to the soft shank making it easy to get en pointe. This wont help! Please try anothe brand!

  • @ariniballetten

yes they do, it makes it less of a task to break them in, and they don't die as fast as regular shoes at all, its great.
