I'm Sorry (Arcade) Gameplay

The Japanese are really weird. This game stands out as one of the more messed-up things the Land of the Rising Sun has produced: I'm Sorry is a flat-out demented game.

You play as a greedy caricature of former Japanese PM Kakuei Tanaka, infamous for being mired in multiple scandals involving bribery. Your goal is to run about, collecting gold bars and depositing them in the building at the top fo the screen. Meanwhile, you have only your ham-sized fist or a paper fan and your jumping skills to protect yourself from Japanese G-Men, moonwalking Michael Jacksons, rolling barrels, living statues, fire hydrants that spew fire, and who knows what else (I can't get very far into this game). And don't let them catch you, or else they do horrible things to you (for example, the G-Men will strip you down and whip you).

This game is nuts.

i remember watching a friend playing this a loooooooong time ago.....he 'd go berserk every time he had to face the whip:) after hours of watching, i finally got round to play the game only to find i was addicted to it.....and to that midi music.....cult cult cult :))))))
