  • STI GRAN CAZZI ....IL MAGO DEI SINT......TANTO DI CAPPELLO

  • @DBNIGHT you can't compare a 80s artist against the todays not talented bad singers

  • It is not the synths that makes bad and boring music, it is the musicians who uses them! As for the workstations, they approached electronic music to an enormously large number of people who would never be able to afford any of the big gear. It´s easy to drool over the old machines but each one specialized in one type of sound only so you needed loads of stuff to do a decent track and only the rich and famous had access to that. The workstations democratized music, never forget that.

  • @redmartian there is't one lol

  • 80´s rule forever . better than Bieber, gaga , Perry

  • orange work suit, that hairstyle, bare feet, wireless mic and a sea of synths in 1983. pure avantgarde.

  • @Mattyuk1

Back in the 80's they used true analog + dirty early digital synths = organic, interesting sounds.

Todays music is made using shitty virtual analog and clean digital synths = boring, boring, boring.

It all started to go wrong with the introduction of 'workstation' synths. Korg, Yamaha and Korg decided it would be cool to use shitty, boring sample based instruments in place of warm, dirty, fat analog.

But fear not, true analog is back in demand.

  • It certainly doesn't feel like this was 27 years ago!

  • Where is the laptop controlling all of this?

  • great!!!
