How was Schumacher quicker than Senna ?

Schumacher set an amazing pace, meanwhile Jos Verstappen was far behind in the other Benetton.

Senna was also extremely impressive, lapping more then 1 sec faster than his team mate Damon Hill.

He already showed his potential, when noone knew him, driving his very 1st Grand Prix at Spa in 1991, impressing everyone, even the Senna fans.

@apj5454 drivers like senna and schummi would race a ilegal car and close the gap, or make it far more dificult to the ilegal car to get ahead, out of pure TALENT. just like senna in this video... remember; benneton was run by the greatest cheater in f1 history; flavio briatore. schummi car was rigged, at least, it had launch control, no question about it.

@apj5454 Jos Verstappen was Schumacher's team mate in 1994 and he has stated this year that Schumacher's car was different than his car.He believes and has gone on record with his beliefs.He believes than only one of the Benetton's had the banned electronic aids.He has said "In kart he never beat me"

The only question is how much slower would Schumacher have been if he hadn't been using the car with illegal traction control. Simple fact that no one can dispute and that even Benetton admitted, their car had traction control on it which was illegal under FIA rules... of course they only admitted it after the season was over with

@hristoitchov my comment refers to how they did not run on minimum fuel, at least in the 2000s. for instance in 2004 the ferrari was the fastest car, but it didn't always get pole position because at that time you were not allowed to refuel in between qualifying and the race. this meant that some teams would run higher fuel in qualifying so that they wouldn't have to stop as early and would be more successful in the race. So in short it wasn't completely about who was the fastest
