  • wtf, i keep finding identical ones to these. I follow all the steps and it checks out perfectly. I gobble them down and i never have any effects ! Please help !

  • we used to get these in north brisbane,some of the tops were as big as a cd,once we found one as round as a dinner plate but no-one was game to eat it.. lol

  • Did you eat it?

  • If you have a nipple on the top, dark spores and bruising you have a good candidate.

    Even easier if you dry them and you're already familiar with their distinctive smell.

  • it has purple spores on the top, a great way to ID them is look for spores on the grass underneath the fruit body, also the annulus on the stipe.

    you can see the gold top but it is covered up by the spores.
