  • As a student at Syracuse in the 60's, I danced to this band hundreds of times. Otis Smith, the lead vocalist, was awesome. My copy of the 45 is worn out, so thanks for posting this. This was their big regional hit, and it was ubiquitous on upstate New York radio.

  • This was "The Song" as far as Syracuse and Rocknroll...

  • Actually, Even though Otis Smith was the lead vocalist for the group, the lead on this song is actually Lloyd Baskin, an SU student who later was the lead singer for the group Seatrain (13 Questions).
