Dude, you need to open up your History books.

because there were no einstein, Japan was not halted during WW2, NO nukes were dropped on Japan making them advance in further. Japan actually was working on Nano tech way back in 1950s

and its WW3! its in the future where the japanese have super nano tech, and has robotic units influenced by their anime/media.

Seriously what did you expect from the japan in a stereotypical wacky universe? let me guess normal fucking tanks in ww3?

  • EA messed this game up so bad.

The one thing that did it for me was the odd cartoonish graphics and physics. I love the wacky universe with odd machines of war, but they've always looked real in some way. not like in RA3 where russian tanks has their turrets shaking and bumping while they drive.

That's just ontop of the game itself beeing really, really boring and plain.

  • @HuloHaj Indeed, just boring. I totally agree - played 1 week and it was boring.

  • Why did they have to nerf the Apacalips tanks? that was my ace unit!

  • one not logical thing.. why do the allies still have the chronosphere when einstein is dead?

  • Is this Japanese force ? Very cool lol

  • @PsionicAnnihilator wthout those nukes WW2 would still exist and Japan would still be beaten by americans or USSR just after Germany. Those nuclear bombs destroyed only 2 cities and USSR would've just take over Japan.

  • @Rhonion

That is, if you want to think of it like that.

I like the 3rd one actually, its quite unexpected and interesting and makes you wonder.

But seriously, its a game where einstein creates a timemachine and teleporting device and kills hitler. It isn't so "odd" to have Einsein removed in the 3rd one.

  • @PsionicAnnihilator at least the first and second were semi-realistic..

the third one is so abstract you'd start to wonder if they actually cared about how they brought it.. seems to me like they just thought "hey! let's add a third faction!" and then just used a time-travel and a half-baked story to justify it..

  • @Rhonion HE was removed after HItler was removed. Somewhere during the aftermath of RA1 I believe.

Well yea, timeline is such a paradox and goofy, there can never be a proper explanation to it.

So yea, that means everything had to change, and plus its whole different universe.

  • @PsionicAnnihilator when was einstein taken away exactly?

RA1, einstein removes hitler from the play before WW2(in other words, no nukes were dropped on Japan because there was no axis allience)

RA3, einstein is removed(this would mean, no chronosphere, no nukes, hitler reappears, WW2 happens like it should and after Hitler is defeated, the allied+comintern still have a common enemy in japan and beat it first. it'd be amazingly random to start battling eachother and leave japan alone, no?)
