The build continues with my first ever tutorial on How to Paint a Truck with a FADE. I use spray paint and show you how I paint my RC trucks with a gradient color scheme. This is part of my Heavy Duty Dually Build series - and is the final paint job for the GMC top Kick body I have. I think it turned out pretty pimpin'.. and Ill be proud to roll with this beauty.

For more information on the Heavy Duty Dually build, and other projects I am working on .. Come on by the http://www.RCSparks.com/forum and check out an amazing community! I built it for all levels of hobby enthusiasts!

See you there!

  • so medic im painting a hummer body for my stampede

im going with a blue on the entire body but i am going to tint the windows, so after so many layers of blue do i peel the decals off and then just black right over the blue? or will that show?

and how do you cut body post holes out?

    or are they pre cut

  • @CRAZYBuNnyPr0dUcTi0n They are not pre-cut my brother! I mark them with a Sharpie marker - and then use a drill! And for the blue bro.. I would do 3-4 layers and then back it with BLACK! then peel off the decals and do the windows buddy! :-) Good luck!

  • man... you missed a great ''that's what she said'' medic... i'm dissapointed lol Sick body man! but you just can't cut like that, and keep us on the strechbench ;)

  • @maxpower700 Oh, i didnt miss it bro.. I just want you guys to have an opportunity to catch them too! Your all being trained very well for those!! NICE ONE!

  • medic, have you ever thought of useing screen from sreen doors fro your window? i used it in both of my slash bodies. i also used a peace of pvc piping for a single stack in the bed of my ford f350, and painted it black. i cut and angle at the top of the pvc to give it and authentic look. i secrued it with super glue on the outsid efor a clean look and hot glue for a stringer hold in the inside then painted the body.

  • Hahahaha 9:39 very short strokes

  • Was it hard to paint the gas tank after you took off the rear window mask???
