  • These videos have been posted as a memory of bygone days, and as a remembrance for those who didn't have a camera at the time. While I don't necessarily have a problem with criticisms of the WCG doctrines, HWA's beliefs, lifestyle, or other matters, this is not the place. The video is a remembrance. If you want to preach or be offensive, do it elsewhere.

  • Does anybody remember the years of the "big tent"?

  • i have another video on the big tent, just check under More from nexmoran

  • We began attending the WWCG in the early 1980's. I was just a small boy then, Our assigned site was Norfolk, VA. It was very different from the Big Sandy Feast site but the process was much the same. We attended daily services in the Scope, a huge civic arena located in downtown Norfolk. I can remember we parked what seemed like an hour away from the Scope and walked for what seemed like miles to get there each day. I've always missed those days.

  • I was there in 1961&1962. I have an old 8mm of 1961, but the quality isn't as good as this. It was certainly a simpler time then. I liked the '63 Chevy pulling in at the beginning. It was brand new! I read your comment regarding this being a video of rememberance and agree. Thanks for putting this on.

  • Every fall season I remember the Feasts in WWCG. In my case it is 86-93, with Saratoga Springs NY the fondest. The kids in my and my extended family also have the warmest memories: and no surprise. For those of you who don't know our custom was to save 10% of our income for a year to finance these trips, and it was a great experience. Fran

  • you would have had to have faith that this man was specially sent to restore all things. God appointed him, he did'nt appoint himself. Yet some people feel free to mock God's messenger. Such people will probably not be heard from again unfortunately, after this life............................

  • @PShawtx Mistakes? He made false prophecy after false prophecy. He blatantly plagiarized Judah's Sceptre and Joseph's Birthright. I have HWA's book, The United States and Britain In Prophecy and the Judah's Sceptre book. HWA copied stuff almost word for word and never gave credit. He tried to pass it off as divine revelation. It was divine revelation alright - it was PLAGIARISM!

  • Thanks nextmoran for posting this....

  • Though I no longer subscribe totally to HWA's theology there is no doubt in my mind that he truly loved God.
