  • Why arent the snare drummers holding their sticks traditional?

  • @suzukirider651 They just don't. That's how they always hold them.

  • Wowwww this is amazing!!!!!!! And what competition was this? It seems pretty big.

Lol I love the Wild Thing routine! xD

  • @howellpower3 This was the USSBA National Championships in the Old Meadowlands Stadium (I can't believe it's been three and a half years already). I think our band had eighty-somethin' members.

And thanks! Would it surprise you if I said that it's the lowest-rated portion of the video, according to the statistics? The lowest point is exactly at the "I LOVE YOU!"xD

  • @howellpower3 I can even remember one rehearsal where we ran the Wild Thing section over and over againxD It was HILARIOUS. Our director pointed way up high and said, "Make sure you sing loud, and point up high at the end so 'Joe' (the imaginary homeless guy) can see and hear you!!"

  • my school did 25 or 6 to 4 last year for our halftime show, along with After The Love Has Gone and Come Sail Away. You guys sound awesome. I wish we did as many songs as you.

  • Thanks:] This year we're only doing 7 songs, but still three parts. We just performed our whole show for the first time on Friday.

  • I LOVE this show!!! It looks so fun!

  • I'm a Stroudsburg Marching Band alumni... I graduated in 2000, we won every competition we were in. This was (another) great show.. I'm glad to see you guys at Giant's Stadium, going there for the 4 years had to be one of the highlights of my high school career (that, and the band trips)... I thought it was so sad when I heard the band wasn't competing, or going to Giant's Stadium anymore. Skip really is a great teacher. He gets a tough rap, but he's one of the best... ; )

  • We don't conform to how other marching bands. We do our own thing, which is why you notice keyboards and guitars. And I have to admit, Mr. Cassady is one of the best band directors I have ever come across in my life. You have to see it to believe it.

  • In middle school at Richland MS, in Richland Hills, Texas, we played 25 or 6 to 4 for a concert when Matthew Cho was the head director. Good Years.

  • I was in this MB in the early 90's. It was a great experience for me. Nice to come across this, but what's with all the guitars... the keyboard? Doesn't seem very marching bandish. I hate to say it, but this seemed dull and not very artistic. Nothing against the students... perhaps it's the direction from Skip? Sorry. Just my opinion.
