Escape From the Asylum

The Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum in Weston, WV. This was built before the Civil War and didn't close until 1994. I used to pass this on the way to my grandmother's house just down the road. At a young age I was usually afraid to even look at it. I spoke with a friend who used to deliver people here. He said it was much scarier inside.

A month before this video was filmed was my first trip to this place, I don't regret coming here one bit, I live about 3 hours away and I was asking my mom to move up to Weston just so I'd be able to go here mostly whenever I wanted LOL. A year later I re-visited and stayed over night, I don't regret that either, this place is amazing.

i lived rite next to there on arch street that place is scary but not that bad i use to smoke pot in there everynite when i was younger

i'd gut out most of those floors and make it a high ceiling bier hall .....you think Haufbrauhaus would be interested in that?!
