Now I get why Half-Life 2 had no gibs for humanoids. It's just really weird when something explodes near the scientist's arm, and his entire body instantly disassembles itself into neat little chunks.

@JTProud Mhm. They should really just have used ragdoll physics when the explosion is near. When it's within 2 meters distance, then a little gib action could be used. But not as much as this... I mean, look at the vortigaunts. EVERYONE exploded into bits except for that vortigaunt to the right. He just stood there still alive.
