@DKDesignLab There's a lot about the universe that we still don't know, which is fine, but inserting god as a default placeholder answer for everything that we haven't yet figured out only stuns our ability to arrive at the truth. What if I never bothered to diagnose and then predict the behavior of the pressures inside a vehicle cabin, dismissing the seemingly elusive phenomenon as god's work? Would that really have done anybody any good? (Also, you can't prove the impossible.)

@FatManRepair If that's true, then my words are truer and truer with each new video, making the earlier uploads comparatively less true :-)

When I hear your monologues, Hex, It' s like you're clearing out fog in my very own head. Wish others were as open to such ruthless rationale and logic.

The amount of common sense in this video is off the charts, and although it's excellent on your behalf, it's really saddening that those hypothetical charts are too small to begin with (they've been calibrated for teh internetz).
I'm looking forward to more thought provoking vids : ).

Your opinions are your opinions, I respect them even if I disagree. However, your points are always well thought out and make clear cut sense. I've had this subject on my mind since I was a very young child, and even till this day I argue with people about it... Perhaps, I should play this video for all those people with thick skulls... SMH!
Anyway Pete, keep the videos coming!

It seems the problem it seems you have, as well as many other Atheists and Agnostics is that people who claim Christianity do not educate themselves in their faith and walk around saying Christian cliches and praising Him but never dig down into the bible to know what they truly are saying when they say they are a Christian. This also bothers me as a Christian to see people claim Christ as their Lord and they love Him but walk, talk, and act like the world and bare no good fruits.

Good points made. I for one am a devote Christian. My family has never really mourned the loss of a loved one as much as we have celebrated the life they lived and the joy the brought to us. While it hurts it is often more joyful to see their pain ended.

@SharkRangler That's good. Even as an atheist, I like to see a little bit of consistency between a belief and the actions of its followers. If you're going to believe in something, be true to it. Being sad at a funeral only means that you're more preoccupied with your own fate than the fate of the departed. Besides, if the grief of a mere physical death is enough to cancel out the joy of eternal bliss in heaven, it must not be much of a heaven.
