Bryce Harper and Tyler Waldron Argue, Clears Benches after Striking Out

Bryce Harper hit a nice home run first swing, first inning. Second at bat, strikes out, then has words with Tyler Waldron and other West Virginia Power players as Waldon says something to him walking off the field and has to be restrained at first, after the benches had cleared.. Skip to 1 minute 20 seconds... first part is just taking pitches.

My point was, his attitude just shows you what the media does to an individual. Jameson is 19, Machado is 18 I believe, and they do not act like they are better than anyone else, and both are as good as the media. Half of the Harper commenters on here would not know them because they only see Harpers name getting blown up. Thanks ESPN.

Not sure if it didn't post all of mine or not but anyways, he has a terrible attitude off the field and his little incidents on the field that he has had (not this one!) will get him hit in the majors. Stop pretending like he is such a wonderful person because you saw his name on ESPN. Yes he is a great player, age does not matter since most of the A guys are 18-21ish.

I never said he had an attitude because of this incident. All i said was that I have been around all 3 many and talked to each and you can see a huge difference in his attitude. Age does not matter, they are all 18-21. And he is not your average 18 year old. I'm not going to argue about his attitude, i've seen it 5 games in person, and you will see it too once you look past how amazing his ESPN highlights are and look into other little 'incidents' hes had, but i'm sure you think its never his f

And to all of you thinking Bryce is such a nice wonderful guy, he isn't.  Yes, he is a good player and yes he is great for his age, but that kid has been blown up by the media and it is obvious. Our team has the 2nd overall pick (Jameson) and the third pick (Machado) was in town this past week and those two guys are extremely nice and will talk to you and sign stuff. You can tell which one the media has built up.

The benches cleared because the pitcher said something to Harper. Harper hit a home run on the first swing of the game, then Waldron struck him out. Waldron said something as he walked past and then Bryce said something back which lead to the benches clearing.

Yes sir, it is the West Virginia Power's new stadium. I believe it is about 7 years old now? They use to be the Charleston Alleycats/Wheelers/Charlies and then had a new stadium built. It's fairly small and rarely crowded except on dollar beer night. Its a very clean stadium though, its nice. Very easy to get autographs, as you can see, people here don't come out to minor league games.

I just so happen to know Bryce on a personal level, and it's people like you that give him a bad name. The thing that you don't realize is that I was at that game and at Bryce's previous at bat, he cranked one off of that pitcher. So when the pitcher gets a borderline call, he was talking shit and Bryce asked him how he liked that bomb and he told him to look at the scoreboard (Bryce's team was winning by 9 runs). He doesn't have an attitude and he is a great athlete and you don'
