5th Documented Video Test of a *NEW* 4 Plate HHO Cell w/ Baking Soda Electrolyte (1/4th teaspoon). Also, the newer design has further been upgraded to 98% of the components being stainless steel (non magnetic) screws/bolts to further our experiments. Spacing is around 1/16th of an Inch. This set-up is regarding a 4-plate config, store bought from Home Depot.

Baking Soda is our electrolyte. The plates are configured to be 2+(pos) and 2-(neg) .. or can be switched around.

This video currently contains the upgrade via stainless steel wall-plates/covers from home depot, where before we were using a 5-plate set-up from lowes. The results appear to be less output from the hho-cell having one less plate in the set-up. Also have a video shot of the new hydrogen measuring device for output that we will be using to determine the milliliters/liter(ml/l) output per minute/hour rate/ratio.

The measuring device will move 500ml to the other empty tube, once timed will give us our output on the hydrogen cell design.

Until then..

Thanks for viewing my videos..

  • Looks like you're drawing 10 or more amps..

That gas measuring set up looks very slick, I'd like to see a close up of the config, will it work without pressure on the cell?

That Breaker is a great idea.

  • Thanks for the feedback, yes the gas measuring device took me a day or so to make between the epoxy setting, and everything else. It does put some pressure on the cell, so will have to see how this effects the tests. Circuit breaker is called "ShortStop" -

Working on a sealed cell as we speak.. :)

  • Baking soda produces carbon-dioxide (not monoxide) which is harmless. When using it as an electrolyte it releases CO2 in the early stages of electrolysis and then the solution is quickly reduced to sodium and the CO2 stops. And yes, technically speaking electrolysis with the use of any kind of salt will create chlorine gas, however only in trace amounts. You would inhale more chlorine gas taking a hot shower than you would from breathing the air near an electrolytic cell in operation.

  • most of you guys will know that salt in water will cause a gas that is poisonus to folks so be very very carfull... stop the brown by useing {cream of tarter } 20 Grams to 1Litre wtr.

  • stainless screen wire is awesome, take it and stack with spacers and roll it up, look out!!!!!, way more hho, less amps, less heat

  • hi, sorry it took so long to come back to you guy, {cream of tarter} i found to calm the cell down, the salt did not burn so readily forming the brown scum, dont know why !! just that it worked...

    thom, in scotland.,

  • this is a battery

  • I don't know why this is recommended to me because I don't understand what is happening here and why the experiment is being done. Would anyone care to explain?

  • Nice output level. What are your temps? I would like to see amps even tho you dont have a amp reader.

what are plate placement? To reduce heat I would add more N plates....the heat issues come from the (+) and (-) to close together.

  • what do you mean you dont have an amp meter? that meter would have amps prolly upto 10 amps

  • i am mysified. i have run a clear acryic smack booster with hd plates, ran them at 20 amps, 2 times 4n, and then wrapped wit 4 inch shrink wrap. i changed soup of sodium hydoxide after 3 months, say 10 tanks of gas, and not a bit of brown. now 3 months later, still drawing 2o amps and still have crystal clear soup. these are 302ss.

  • Stainless steel is the only type you want to use.

  • put another couple set of plates in series or as floatersr put a few diodes in series with them when they heat up, but two or more plates is better, they produce hho and limit current
